Based in Austin, Texas, for over 30 years, Uptown Modern curates and sells vintage, eclectic home and office furniture from the 1940s through the 2000s, sourced from all over the world.  We lean towards midcentury modern and Danish Modern, but aren’t limited to one genre.  

Designers and brands we often source are Eames, Dunbar, Probber, Arne Jacobsen and Arne Vodder, Milo Baughman, and Adrian Pearsall.  
We also like to sell finds by Drexel, Henredon, Saarinen, and others. We also find and sell pieces by Paul McCobb, Knoll, Herman Miller,  Kofoed Larsen, Hans Werner, Heritage, Broyhill, Heywood Wakefield, and more.

Located on (or near) Burnet Rd. In Austin for over 20 years,  our landlord had other plans for our building, and we have moved out to temporary storage.  We are looking for a permanent location, but in the meantime, we will be selling in Round Top through October 2026.  We will begin selling online starting in November while we continue to look for a permanent location.
